What will I learn?

Investigate both the literature and culture of the French-speaking world. Enjoy small class sizes: Introductory language courses are capped at 20 students to enhance learning and interaction between students and professors. Contribute to and benefit from frequent and diverse cultural activities, such as film screenings, conversation tables and other events related to French and Francophone culture. Pursue scholarship and fellowship opportunities like the prestigious Boren and Fulbright awards. Conduct research with national and international scholars and benefit from the international connections of our world-renowned faculty. Forge relationships across cultural differences, developing a global perspective by studying and pursuing internships in Strasbourg, France.

Entry requirements

For international students

You must be enrolled in or have graduated from an accredited secondary school. SAT/ACT scores will not be required for students applying for Spring 2026, Fall 2026, or Spring 2027 admission. Students who choose not to submit test scores will not be disadvantaged and will remain eligible for merit scholarships.
