With a growing demand for computing literacies, the Fundamental Computing Certificate of Undergraduate Study (C.U.G.S.) program offers a series of courses to introduce students to a comprehensive study of various domains where computing is applicable. Students may explore areas such as programming in various languages, creating mobile applications, developing literacy in webpage authoring, exploring computer network and data communications, and examining information security. Ultimately, these experiences may then be extended and applied to individual student disciplines and is intended to attract student who wish to increase their marketability within a diverse domain of computing literacies. The Certificate of Undergraduate Study (CUGS) in Fundamental Computing is designed to offer students the opportunity of a specialized study to provide students with experience in key courses of this discipline at the undergraduate level. The following is a list of items required to begin the application process for the program. There may be additional actions or materials required for admission to the program. Upon receipt of the materials below, a representative from the Rowan Global Admissions Processing Office will contact you with confirmation or will indicate any missing items. The chart below details available entry terms for the Fundamental Computing Certificate of Undergraduate Study program as well as corresponding application deadlines. Submitting the Application Form is only the first step to beginning the admission process. All of the required materials listed above must be received on or before the application completion deadline for your desired entry term to be considered for admission to that term. We encourage you to complete the application form and begin submitting your materials at least one month before the deadline indicated.
