What will I learn?

The Gordon Engineering Leadership Program is a transformational, technical, and challenging graduate-level learning experience targeted for engineering professionals. The Gordon Institute offers a Graduate Certificate in Engineering Leadership as formal recognition of mid-level engineers’ leadership acumen and broadened cross-functional capabilities.A National Academy of Engineering recognized institute, the graduate certificate in engineering leadership can be taken in combination with most engineering Master of Science engineering degrees at Northeastern. Applicants who already hold an advanced degree or have 3 or more years of engineering work experience are eligible to apply to the stand-alone graduate certificate in engineering leadership. The stand-alone graduate certificate does not require participation in a Master of Science program.

Entry requirements

For international students

If youre new to Australia and English is not your first language, your child's English language skills will be assessed. If your child is in the early stages of learning English, your child may be able to attend an Intensive English Unit (IEU) program. Your child can attend this program for a year. An extra semester of study may also be arranged in discussion with your child's school.Two letters of recommendation are required.At the time of application submission, we require unofficial copies of your transcripts from all institutions in which you earned a Bachelors degree equivalent or higher.Include a Statement of Purpose.
