a. The Graduate Certificate Program requires acceptance by the Graduate School as a non-degree student.
b. Students must have earned at minimum a baccalaureat degree from an accredited university.
c. A supplemental Department of Modern Languages application with a 1-2 page personal statement in Spanish is required.
d. Applicants must pass a department administered Oral Proficiency Interview and Writing Proficiency Test with a minimal Intermediate High rating or the equivalent.
e. Currently licensed Spanish teachers may bypass the above requirement
