The Department of English is home to poets and linguists, literacy researchers and teacher educators, novelists and literary scholars, composition specialists and writers of creative nonfiction. The Graduate Certificate in TESOL Education provides graduates with practical, theoretical, and critical knowledge of the English language and methods for teaching it in various social and academic settings. Entry requirements

For international students

Graduate Certificates require the submission of the official transcript that shows your bachelors degree awarded. One official transcript issued by the institution where the bachelors degree was earned is required. If the transcript does not show the date the degree was awarded, a diploma is required. All records submitted must be in the native language - any credentials written in languages other than English must be accompanied by a certified English translation. Colorado State University transcripts are not required. U.S. degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution to qualify for CSU graduate admission (graduate certificate or degree program).
