History BA - Juris Doctorate JD 3+3

USA

What will I learn?

Attorneys are historians. They gather evidence, analyze testimony, and use past precedents to build persuasive arguments. In the History BA/JD 3+3 Program, you’ll learn the skills of a historian-critical reading, research, analysis, and persuasive writing-while preparing for success in law school. This accelerated pathway allows you to earn both a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Juris Doctor (JD) from the University of Akron School of Law in just six years instead of seven. By combining historical training with legal education, you’ll save time, reduce costs, and enter the legal profession with the tools to excel.
