Study History, BS at University of Central Missouri in the USA, College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences

What will I learn?

The University of Central Missouri’s Bachelor of Science in History program promotes the study of diverse cultures and human experiences across time. As a History major, you’ll develop critical thinking, research and analytical skills, as well as your cultural competency. At the same time, you’ll gain experience in digital history, service learning and public history. Your adventure as a citizen of a changing world begins in UCM’s History degree program. The B.S. in History removes the foreign language requirement from the B.A. and instead requires you to use nine or more of your 45 free-elective credit hours to complete additional history courses or work towards a complementary minor or double major outside of history. Many of our concentrations get you halfway (or more) to a minor in another discipline.
