What will I learn?

Pursue two degrees in two years with CSU’s College of Business STEM-designated, dual master’s degree – Impact MBA and Master of Finance (MFIN). With this dual degree, you’ll gain a competitive edge to advance your career in multiple fields with the strong foundation of a globally recognized sustainability MBA combined with the in-depth quantitative specialization of a finance masters -- all while saving time and tuition. In the Impact MBA you’ll learn to connect purpose and profit to begin a meaningful career in the expanding sector of sustainable business, and how to integrate economic, social and environmental initiatives to achieve sustainable business goals to respond to today’s most urgent challenges such as climate change. Through our STEM-designated Master of Finance, you’ll have access to our 16 Bloomberg terminals and gain practical experience with technology used by top Wall Street and global firms. You’ll learn how to navigate finance and finance-related issues which are a part of every organization’s success. This degree also helps prepares you for industry exams like the Chartered Financial Analyst CFA and the Financial Risk Manager FRM. The Impact MBA-Master of Finance dual degree provides all the benefits of each degree individually while also making you career-ready to engage in ESG (environmental, social and governance). ESG is a new, expanding sector of business that’s changing how industries will operate and measure their success in the future.
