Entry requirements

For international students

You must have a four-year bachelors degree from an accredited institution with a minimum cumulative GPA of at least 2.5/4.0 and must be admitted as a graduate certificate student. Certificate students who later apply to one of the departments M.S. programs or the Ph.D. program must meet the admission guidelines for that program. All coursework taken toward a certificate in technical communication or in instructional design and passed with a grade of B or better may also be applied to the M.S. in technical communication and information design or the M.S. in information architecture (if youre admitted to one of those programs), as long as those courses were not applied to another degree.
