What will I learn?

Enrollment in the dual Master of Laws (LL.M.)/Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree program provides the possibility for international students to select one of four available LL.M. tracks at Chicago-Kent College of Law and combine it with one of two available M.B.A. tracks - one of which is STEM designated - at Stuart School of Business. Dual-degree program students may apply up to six credits of LL.M. coursework that is taken at Chicago-Kent toward the requirements for the M.B.A. degree to complete both degrees in two or two and a half years. The dual Master of Laws (LL.M.)/Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree program allows students to obtain an LL.M. degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law and an M.B.A. degree from Stuart School of Business in two or two and a half years it generally takes three years to earn the two degrees independently.

Entry requirements

For international students

Candidates for the dual LL.M./M.B.A. program must apply to and be accepted by each program separately. Two letters of recommendation are required. The recommendation letters will enable us to assess the applicant's capacity for advanced legal study. Applicants can request a recommendation letter from their references via email by adding the references' contact email address in the applicant portal. Applicants who are practicing lawyers must submit a notarized copy of their License to Practice. In addition, practicing lawyers must also submit an official original copy of their law school transcript, bearing the stamp or seal of the school. These documents can be uploaded directly online to the applicant portal in PDF format. Applicants who are currently in law school must submit an official original copy of their law school transcript, bearing the stamp or seal of the school. These documents can be uploaded directly online to the applicant portal in PDF format.
