The Master of Arts (M.A.) program in clinical psychology is a 37-credit-hour degree program that allows students to develop basic intervention, evaluation, and consultation skills. Graduates of the program are prepared to assume entry-level clinical positions in agency, health-care, and organizational settings. Licensing laws of states vary widely, and students should consult the licensing body in the state in which they intend to practice to determine opportunities and requirements for licensure at the master’s level.Psychology explores the social and biological aspects of human nature, stressing theoretical command and reasoning skills pivotal to processing and evaluating data, claims, and hypotheses that can benefit people in multiple ways. Our undergraduate programs offer a comprehensive introduction to this broad and expansive field.TU programs address fundamental questions about human nature via collaborative research, applied fieldwork, and mentoring. From co-authoring scientific papers to having access to psychology clubs and lectures by distinguished guest speakers, our curriculum offers a versatile learning pathway and numerous networking opportunities. Psychology’s domain encompasses a dynamic range of professional subfields, including counseling, developmental, forensic, industrial-organizational, school, and social psychology.
