This program blends theory and practice with coursework in design firm management, research, and technology, helping you strengthen your critical thinking, design skills, communication, and application of evidence-based strategies in professional practice.Your creativity will thrive at our beautiful Walter J. Manninen Center for the Arts on Endicott’s inspiring seaside campus. Our Interior Architecture program focuses on building your skills and relationships and offers personal advising and networking opportunities for each student.Upon completion of the program, students will:Assimilate highly technical, theoretical, and sophisticated problem solving methods in the development of the design of interior environmentsResearch, understand, and demonstrate the role and impact upon society that emerging design theories and technologies have on complex interior environmentsAssess and synthesize project needs and strategies to operate in and communicate within a collaborative and integrated mode with other design specialist and related professionsDevelop and advance current design principles, theories and academic research, and demonstrate a contribution to design practice, education, and societyDevelop an understanding, application and specifying furniture, fixtures, finish materials, and environmental systems, controls and regulations to maximize occupant health, welfare, and comfort within interior environmentsDevelop a global perspective for design including an understanding and application of sustainable strategies that enhance users and planet earthEndicott College is accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE).
