What will I learn?

The School of Computing and the School of Electrical, Computer and Biomedical Engineering are offering a joint Master of Science degree program in Cybersecurity and Cyber Systems through the Graduate School. The M.S. degree program has been designed to provide students with relevant graduate-level education and to prepare them for careers as professional computer scientists or advanced doctoral-level studies. Faculty members and graduate students engage in informal and direct contacts to better utilize their combined resources in studies and research. All graduate-level teaching is done by full-time highly qualified faculty members who are committed to pursuing excellence in both teaching and research. A friendly, stimulating atmosphere is present in both the School of Computing and the University as a whole.

Entry requirements

For international students

Applicants with a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Information Systems or equivalent degrees will be admitted directly as long as their GPA satisfies Graduate School requirements.

Admission to the M.S. in Cybersecurity and Cyber Systems program is based on the following factors: grade point average of 2.75 or higher on a scale of 4.0 on approximately the last 60 credit hours of undergraduate coursework, class ranking, and faculty recommendation letters.

The English language requirement may be met by submitting: 550 on the paper-based TOEFL; 80 on the internet-based TOEFL; 6
