M.S. Environmental Science

In the Environmental Science M.S program, students will develop an understanding of chemistry and biology associated with environmental issues, as well as real-world issues such as environmental monitoring and regulatory affairs. This program combines fundamental sciences with practical problems. We expect graduates to have diverse skills and exhibit and/or engage in the following:Academic Excellence: Fundamental understanding of the scientific issues related to the environment.Professionalism in the Environmental Sciences: The students develop professional skills through career-focused coursework and research that emphasize current environmental problems.Professional Growth: Environmental Science is an evolving field where the associated problems change with time and the political environment. The program adapts to these needs while keeping academic excellence in mind.
