What will I learn?

The Technology Management master’s program is designed to develop leaders adept at managing technological change, and skilled in establishing and maintaining superior competitive advantage for their respective enterprises or for new ventures. For an enterprise, continuing advancement of technology provides both opportunities and threats. It is essential that an enterprise continually develops, sources and/or applies, the latest relevant technology in products, services, and systems in support of the key business functions and processes such as R&D, marketing, sales, customer service engineering, manufacturing, operations, finance, accounting, distribution, information technology, business analytics and others. The UB Technology Management program is specifically designed to develop skills and competencies such as: Addressing current issues and case studies using creativity and methods for problem identification/solutions Communicating ideas clearly and persuasively in oral and written structures in both formal and informal settings Effective leadership and management skills in technology-driven environments Fostering a culture of innovation within an organization, recognizing the technological, political, and cultural forces that enable and inhibit change Integrating technological solutions into business processes to enhance effectiveness and efficiency by assessing emerging technologies to gain a competitive advantage

Entry requirements

For international students

Bachelors degree in engineering or a related STEM field from an accredited university or recognized international institution Recommended cumulative undergraduate GPA of 2.90 or higher Application Official transcript for the last degree earned To be considered for a scholarship and prerequisite waivers, you must submit transcripts from each institution attended In certain cases, the GRE can be waived based on previous academic performance. After submitting your application and all other required documents, you may be admitted without the GRE or our admissions staff will contact you if the GRE is required for a decision.
