What will I learn?

The study of history is critical to the creation of a just society. Like Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt, our University namesakes, the master’s in history program encourages students to put this ethos to work as teachers and experts. At Roosevelt University in downtown Chicago, you can choose between a thesis or non-thesis track. You can also earn a certificate in archives and cultural heritage resources. This 2-year program consists of a mix of in-person and online classes on the Chicago campus. Admissions are open for fall and spring start dates.
