What will I learn?

In the 30-credit M.A. in Mathematics, students gain a solid foundation in advanced mathematics and develop skills in mathematical modeling, numerical applications and data analysis in order to succeed in a variety of professions. A master's degree in mathematics opens many doors to jobs in finance, technology, biomedicine and data analysis, among others. The master’s program also provides an excellent foundation for our Ph.D. program.

Entry requirements

For international students

Bachelors degree - with typical majors in mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering and quantitative sciences. Majors such as economics, finance, psychology are also eligible if you can demonstrate a strong quantitative background. Prerequisites - one university course in each of the following: mathematical probability and statistics, multivariable calculus and linear algebra.
