What will I learn?

The Applied Research and Methodology Psychology Program is designed to improve your professional and academic competitiveness by expanding your knowledge and skills in research methods and statistical analysis, as well as core principles of psychology. During your course of study, you will work closely with outstanding faculty with a wide range of expertise to actively engage in research using state-of-the-art facilities. You will have the opportunity to make significant research contributions to areas such as social psychology, learning, memory, and developmental psychology, as well as cognitive neuroscience or psychopharmacology. Students can also specialize in behavior analysis and take the courses required to obtain certification as a board-certified behavior analyst. The major in Psychology with a concentration in Applied Research and Methodology requires completion of 36 hours or 37 hours for Behavior Analysis including 30 hours in graduate psychology courses

Entry requirements

For international students

In order to be considered for admission, candidates must meet two standards: an undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 or higher and a minimum of 291 on the combined Verbal and Quantitative sections of the Graduate Record Exam (GRE) - General Exam. All applicants must hold a bachelor degree from an accredited university.
