What will I learn?

The Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) with a concentration in Catholic Education is designed for students who wish to pursue their teaching careers in Catholic schools and to hone their skills in classroom teaching. During the first three semesters, while completing the Teacher Education Credential coursework, classes are offered Monday – Thursday evenings, and on some Saturdays. Student teaching begins in the second semester and usually requires two days a week of in-class time. In the third semester, you'll need five days a week of in-class time.

Entry requirements

For international students

One set of unofficial transcripts from each university/college previously attended. For U.S. applicants, the degree must be from a regionally accredited university/college.Applicants must have earned their Bachelor's and/or Masters' degrees from a regionally accredited institution.Recommended GPA of 2.75.Two current letters of recommendation, noting suitability for graduate work.Current résumé.
