What will I learn?

Help align the business of health care with its healing purpose. The M.B.A. with a concentration in Health Services Management prepares you to facilitate the practice of health care by providing the solid business management skills and industry specific knowledge needed to effectively lead today's health care organizations. The M.B.A. with a concentration in Health Services Management allows you the opportunity to study the major systems that comprise health care organizations: governance, finance, clinical services and human resources.You'll learn to identify and understand the best practices and processes of the well-managed health care organization in its variety of forms (ambulatory care, acute care, long-term care, home health, and so forth). The program provides you with skills needed to effectively coordinate, integrate, and improve the quality of health services.In this way, we hope to prepare you for the many opportunities and unique challenges of a continuously changing health care industry. While pursuing your degree, you’ll also have access to business networking opportunities, educational internship programs, computer and tutoring labs, and student organizations.
