What will I learn?

The OSU Master of Business Administration (MBA) offers a creatively unique culture that mirrors the corporate world’s collaborative environment while offering soft skill development that will set an OSU MBA graduate apart from the competition in the job market. According to post-graduation data gathered on nearly 90 percent of the 308 students who graduated with an MBA in 2017, 98.4 percent had employment, job offers or other plans within 3 months of graduation.The MBA is a 33 to 36-hour program that can be completed in as few as 12 months. MBA students can pursue specializations in career concentrations and may complete concentration coursework as electives for the MBA degree. Core courses include management and organizational theory, corporate and business strategy, project management, descriptive analytics, ethics, financial reporting, business finance, marketing management and prescriptive analytics.

A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred however applicants with a lower GPA are still considered for admissionThe personal statement provides an opportunity for the applicant to not only demonstrate skills in effective writing and communication but showcase his or her passion for the field of public health facets of personal character and readiness for entrance into a rigorous graduate program of study The MPH program at OSU seeks to admit a diverse population of students who display a dedication to public health practice and an understanding of the role of public health practice in improving health outcomesTwo letters of recommendation are requiredThe field of public health is a corner stone of community service and outreach Related experience serving rural populations or otherwise addressing needs for underserved populations is preferred Related experience does not have to be within the field of public health but may demonstrate dedication to a topic or populations skills in leadership etcTOEFL 79 internet-based 550 paper-based.IELTS 6.5
