What will I learn?

The health care field needs leaders who can design and deliver innovative and practical solutions. The MBA in Management/Master of Public Health in Community Health Practice (MBA/MPH) joint-degree program will develop your managerial acumen and expertise as a public health professional. You’ll gain skills in finance and operations as well as an in-depth understanding of disease prevention and health promotion at the organizational and community level. The MBA/MPH joint-degree program is designed for highly motivated students who work or plan to work in management, executive, or consulting positions in community/population health. You’ll earn advanced degrees in two highly complementary fields-public health and business-from our College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences and internationally renowned Kellstadt Graduate School of Business in as little as three years of full-time coursework. Classes are offered during the evenings on the Loop Campus. The practicum completed during the final year will require some daytime availability.
