What will I learn?

In our M.B.A. Technological Entrepreneurship, you’ll develop key skills in strategic management, decision-making, marketing, operations, finance, and leadership. You will also apply your skills in real time to build a startup, commercialize a new technology, or drive innovation within a company. Dynamic, rigorous, and real-world. This is the M.B.A. for achieving your goals as a tech innovator. With the business expertise, management skills, and hands-on experiences in Illinois Tech’s entrepreneurship M.B.A., you’ll stand out in any business-from small startups to large corporations-especially those that leverage cutting-edge technology for success.Mentoring and networking are built into the program. Illinois Tech and Stuart have extensive contacts throughout Chicago's vibrant entrepreneurial and business communities, so you’ll have a wide range of opportunities to connect with startup founders in all types of industries and tap into resources such as business incubators, innovation labs, and Illinois Tech’s Ed Kaplan Family Institute for Innovation and Tech Entrepreneurship.Flexibility for working professionals includes in-person courses offered primarily on evenings and Saturdays at our convenient downtown Chicago campus. Typical completion times are two years (six semesters) part-time or 12–16 months full-time.

Entry requirements

For international students

  • Bachelors degree in any discipline; preferably STEM undergraduate
  • Official transcript submission with a minimum cumulative undergraduate grade-point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • No GMAT or GRE scores required
  • CV/resume
  • Professional statement (statement of purpose)
  • Official TOEFL or IELTS score, if required
