The Department of Animal Science and Veterinary Technology offers Master of Science degrees in Animal Science and Ranch MangementResearch projects in Animal Science have involved, but are not limited to, nutrition, reproduction, physiology/endocrinology, meat sciences, muscle biology, molecular biology, grazing and forage systems, intensive and small-scale animal production systems and/or sustainability, international animal agriculture and quantitative genetics.For the M.S. degree in Ranch Management, the following course subjects can be included in the major area for the degree (ANSC, WSCI, PLSS).

Entry requirements

For international students

Students must have earned BS Degree or equivalent degree from an accredited University. A Minimum GPA of 3.0 for coursework from the previous degree. A minimum of 150 for each the math and verbal sections on the GRE exam. The minimum score required is a 6.0 overall band score. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 79 (Internet-based) or 550(Paper-based) is the university minimum requirement for all Graduate students.
