What will I learn?

Investigate social and criminal justice issues. This program explores how cultural and political issues are related to criminal justice around the world, and specifically how justice is applied to juveniles, women, and ethnic groups. As you study crime through social and philosophical perspectives, you'll recognize its impacts on communities and society. You'll gain the theoretical perspectives, substantive knowledge, and research skills you need to engage in independent, critical investigation of social justice and criminal justice issues.

Admission requirements Individual program admission requirements over and above admission to NAU are required. See the application for details.Applicants must have earned a bachelors degree from a regionally accredited institution and a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 out of a 4.0 scale to be considered for regular admission. Admitted students are expected to have undergraduate educational experiences, including general education studies, that are similar to those required for a baccalaureate at Northern Arizona University. Applicants who have earned their degree(s) from an international institution must submit official transcripts directly from the university or college. The transcripts must be in the original language of the country accompanied by an English translation.
