Wichita State’s Master of Science (MS) in athletic training prepares students for careers working with athletes in the areas of injury / illness prevention and assessment, first aid and emergency care. This comprehensive program, combining classroom and on-the-job learning, is accredited through the Commission on Accreditation for Athletic Training Education (CAATE), 2001 K Street NW, Third Floor North, Washington, DC 20006 USA. The program is currently applying to the CAATE for a change in level of degree and is pending approval.

Students will be admitted to full graduate standing if they have the equivalent of an undergraduate degree in mathematics, have a grade point average of at least 3.000 in mathematics courses, and meet Graduate School admission requirements.
