What will I learn?

With a master’s in biology, you’ll be prepared for careers across the spectrum of life sciences. Focus your studies in cell and molecular biology or ecology and evolutionary biology. This 2-year program consists of in-person classes on the Chicago or Schaumburg campuses. Admissions are open for fall and spring start dates. The full-time course delivery meets F1 visa requirements and is STEM designated. The Biology, MS is thesis-based and all students will complete a minimum of 9 hours of research training. If you are interested in preparing for technical or management careers in applied sciences, we encourage you to look at our Biotechnology and Chemical Science, MS. Interested in health professional school? Our Biomedical Sciences, MA degree is a one-year bridge program for future health care leaders to prepare for further training.

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Official or unofficial transcripts from all previously attended colleges and universities in the United States. Letter of intent required if GPA is less than 2.8 Unofficial GRE, MCAT, PCAT or DAT score (recommended).
