What will I learn?

This 36-credit program offers students a combination of technical competence in information systems and advanced managerial and organizational skills tailored to the healthcare industry. NEC’s Master of Science in Computer Information Systems (CIS) with a concentration in Health Informatics program provides students with a foundational knowledge of information systems and a deeper understanding of how the many aspects of information technology sustain and support the modern healthcare environment. Students will use this new knowledge and acquired tools in a variety of applications, including managing health data, designing healthcare networks and systems, and assisting in advanced medical research. You have completed a bachelors degree from an accredited school with a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or above. Copy of valid passport, Résumé/curriculum vitae (CV), Unofficial transcripts- A completed bachelors degree from an accredited school with a cumulative GPA is 2.75 or above is required. Please include the consolidated marks memo sheet and provisional certificate showing the degree you completed and the division and/or cumulative GPA. Official transcripts will be required after enrollment. Send your official transcript to NEC.
