What will I learn?

To prepare you for your career, well train you in subjects such as policy, administration, research methods and statistics, patterns in crime, and criminological theory. Well also ask you to choose one of two tracks. The thesis track program is better if you want to pursue a doctoral-level degree in criminology, criminal justice, or a related field. With this option, youll need to complete a thesis project under the supervision of a faculty advisor. The non-thesis track is more geared toward working professionals. Its available completely onlineperfect if you cant attend classes on campus. This track will give you advanced training in areas such as research methods, program evaluation, and policy analysis. With this option, youll be required to complete a demonstration project, and youll be strongly encouraged to complete a field placement or internship.
