What will I learn?

You just cant get enough when it comes to electricity, computer software, microelectronics, processing, power systems, and more. Simply put, you need your MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering.With a masters degree, youll be able to learn advanced skills in electrical and engineering or continue on a path for entry into a doctoral program. You see, we specifically designed a curriculum for you to build on the foundation you established when you earned your bachelors. As a graduate student, youll delve deep into such topics as computer software and networking, control, microelectronics and embedded systems, signal and image processing, power systems, telecommunication, and more. Youll also have the option of completing a thesis. As a thesis student, youll need nine hours of research, and youll present an oral defense. If you choose not to go the thesis route, therell be extra coursework involved as well as a graduate project.

Entry requirements

For international students

A bachelors degree in an accredited electrical engineering, computer engineering, electrical and computer engineering or a bachelors degree acceptable to the graduate faculty in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Students not having a bachelors degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, electrical and computer engineering may be required to complete prerequisite courses based on their prior coursework and their plan of study, which will be defined at the time of admission.A 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale;Three letters of recommendation concerning the applicants previous academic and professional work;
