You can specialize this degree program by selecting from multiple concentrations in telecommunications, communications engineering, power and energy engineering, opto-electronics and more.The program offers a blend of theoretical and hands-on learning, preparing you for advanced responsibilities in industry or further academic research. Research funders include the National Science Foundation, the Air Force Office of Scientific Research, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, the Office of Naval Research and various companies, including Raytheon and Intel. The MSE in Electrical Engineering is a 30-credit master's degree. Graduate students can choose to complete a thesis or non-thesis option.

  • Applicants should possess background pre-requisite courses: EECE.2160, EECE.2650, EECE.3110, EECE.3170, EECE.3600, EECE.3620, EECE.3650 and EECE.4130
  • Applicants lacking prerequisites are required to make up deficiencies
