What will I learn?

The Whitman School’s STEM-designated M.S. in Finance program is flexibly designed to prepare you for success during your time of study and throughout your career. The program will give you essential knowledge in corporate finance, investments and financial management. You will be ready to face the challenges of the dynamic professional financial environment. In this program, you can specialize in corporate finance, investments or real estate. There are many program benefits including: access to current market data, live newsfeeds, software for analysis and other resources used by professionals in the field, including eleven Bloomberg terminals preparation for Bloomberg certification and professional exams, such as CFA, FRM and CAIA designations and participation in business case competitions, such as the CFA Institute Research Challenge and other university competitions.

Entry requirements

For international students

Applicants who studied at universities outside the U.S. should have a degree equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's degree or higher. International credentials are assessed in terms of the educational pattern of the country, the type of institution attended and the level of study completed before the expected date of enrollment at the Whitman School. The degree should generally represent a minimum of four years of college-level study, which follows at least 12 years of schooling at the elementary and secondary levels. Transcripts of academic credentials One transcript from your degree-bearing undergraduate university. If you have a graduate degree, please submit that transcript as well. Two letters of recommendation Resume GMAT/GRE score (strongly recommended for consideration but, not required) Essay Video Component
