Lamar University's Master of Science in Healthcare Management is a 30-hour program designed to prepare professionals for leadership roles in the healthcare sector. This program combines core business competencies with healthcare-specific knowledge, including economics, human resources, entrepreneurship, strategy and information systems. With a flexible elective structure, you will be allowed to customize your learning based on career interests in functional areas of operations, finance, human resources, marketing, cybersecurity, physician and employee engagement and others in the healthcare sector. The goal of this program is for its graduates to recognize the roles of clinicians, stakeholders and other supporting patient care providers in healthcare organizations. As well as identifying the best practices for operating a successful healthcare organization.
