What will I learn?

The Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) MS-Thesis (plan A) is housed in the School of Materials Science and Engineering, an interdisciplinary graduate program. The MSE MS-thesis is designed to engage students with: active hands-on training in the latest materials characterization and computational methods, materials-focused intellectual property protection and technology transfer, professional skill development, a diverse core of faculty mentors. The overall objective of the MSE-MS is to develop students to be science and engineering professionals who use their multidisciplinary problem solving skills to address global challenges in the field of materials science and engineering.

Bachelors of Science/Technology/Engineering in an engineering, physics or chemistry field, Minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale - Conditional admission via CSUs admissions pathway program is possible for applicants with 2.8 -2.99 on a 4.0 scale
