Entry requirements

For international students

Applicants must hold a bachelors degree in mathematics or a closely related discipline. Admission is competitive and based on academic preparation, GPA, and foundational coursework.Minimum Requirements:1. GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale).2. An average of 3.5 or better across four of the following undergraduate prerequisites: - Real Analysis (MATH 3050/4060) - Abstract Algebra (MATH 3110/4120) - Topology (MATH 4410) - Ordinary Differential Equations (MATH 4240) - Linear Algebra (MATH 3090) - Differential Geometry (MATH 4210 or equivalent)Application Materials:• Transcripts from all colleges/universities attended• Personal statement outlining academic interests and goals• At least one letter of recommendation4+1 Tulane Applicants:• Minimum 3.5 GPA and the relevant mathematics coursework
