Math is an essential tool for understanding the world and our place in it. With a master’s in mathematics, you’ll learn how to develop models, work with abstraction and quantitative information, and have a rewarding career. This 2-year program consists of in-person classes on the Chicago campus. Admissions are open for fall and spring start dates. The full-time course delivery meets F1 visa requirements and is STEM designated. With a concentration in statistics, you’ll combine at least 24 credit hours of math courses and nine hours in another field such as biology, chemistry, economics and more. With a computer science concentration, you’ll pair 18 credit hours of math courses with up to 15 hours in computer science. Roosevelt holds an annual conference called the Math x-Position where you can present your work, hear a career panel, and learn more about interesting topics. Our students also travel to conferences and competitions all over the country.
