What will I learn?

The Master of Science in Teaching, Learning and Leadership, option in K-12 Education, is designed to advance your classroom teaching skills by merging theory and research with evidence-based practice. Our program is designed for elementary (grades K-5) or secondary (grades 6-12) classroom teachers who want to specialize in an area of emphasis or for alternatively certified teachers who want to be comprehensively prepared and well-qualified to teach.Degree completion requires a minimum of 36 hours beyond the bachelor's degree, including required coursework, coursework taken in the emphasis area and electives. Pre-requisites may apply. You can choose from a thesis or non-thesis option and may enroll full time (six credit hours) or part time.
