Entry requirements

For international students

To be considered for admission to the program,applicants must have:• The equivalent of an undergraduate degree or minor in mathematics or science (with at least a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale) or a satisfactory score on the quantitative portion of the GRESubmit transcripts from all previously attended institutionsCurrent academic resume or curriculum vitae Goal statement that articulates why the applicant is pursuing the degree (500 words)Applicants for whom English is a second language are required to demonstrate an acceptable level of spoken English usually by submitting a TOEFL or IELTS score. TOEFL score of 79 (internet based test) 550 (paper based test) is required. Alternatively, an official IELTS, academic stream, examination with a minimum overall band score of 6.5 will satisfy the English proficiency requirements for admission to a graduate program.
