Master of Social Work/Master of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice

The MS/MSW dual degree combines the expertise of the faculty of the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice and the faculty of the Grace Abbott School of Social Work.Provides specialized training in working with delinquent and criminal populations across the continuum of care through diversion to corrections to re-entry programs. Prepares criminal justice professionals to better serve the people with whom they work, and helps social workers to better understand offender populations.Successful graduates are highly qualified personnel trained to work in schools, health, and human service agencies, criminal justice agencies, and nonprofit organizations.

We focus on building knowledge, effective policy and efficient practice in Violence Intervention and Policing, Victimology, Corrections and more Undergraduate degrees include optional concentrations or minors in Victimology, and Policing.
