Entry requirements

For international students

The Master of Science in Materials Science and Engineering program is open to students with a bachelors degree in engineering or the physical sciences. Admission requires a 3.0 grade point average, or the equivalent as determined by the Department Graduate Officer. Applicants whose baccalaureate degrees are not in materials or metallurgical engineering, or whose undergraduate preparation is evaluated as insufficient, may be required to elect additional courses prior to admission
