What will I learn?

The Master of Science in Executive Coaching and Organizational Consulting (ECOC) is designed to address the growing demand for highly skilled and academically trained executive coaches and organizational consultants. Students will be prepared to enhance individual and organizational effectiveness through coaching leaders on goal-setting, presence, performance, and effective communication as well as consulting with leaders on organizational culture, systems and design. Leading academics and industry practitioners will bridge evidence-based science and applied practice to empower students to become more influential and strategic leadership development coaches and organizational consultants.

This 30-credit accelerated MS program can be completed online, onsite or in a hybrid format. It is also accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), the gold standard in education for the coaching profession.

Critical Knowledge

At the NYU Master of Science in Executive Coaching and Organizational Consulting (ECOC) program, our academic goal is to produce:

  1. Evidence-based professional coaches with a grounding in social science methodology
  2. Educated consumers of the most current organizational development research and leading edge technology in the marketplace
  3. Critical thinkers about the continued evolution of the practice of executive coaching and organizational consulting and the value we can bring to the human experience of work
