Entry requirements

For international students

Applicants to the PHDEECS program must have completed a bachelors degree or higher in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, software engineering, systems engineering, or a closely related field from an ABET accredited program or international equivalent. The applicant must have excellent academic credentials with a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.2. The Graduate Records Examination (GRE) is required for acceptance into this program and applicants are encouraged to have acceptable scores.
