St. John’s University College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences offers a Master of Science degree in Pharmacy Administration. Our program provides students with the theoretical knowledge and research skills required to advance pharmacy administration scholarship that is practice focused, patient-centered, and outcomes-oriented. The Pharmacy Administration graduate program is committed to a student-centered inclusive pedagogical model that supports student success, personal, and professional development. Our graduates are equipped with the tools to become leaders in their respective fields who work effectively in interprofessional collaborative environments. The specialized track in pharmaceutical marketing of our program is designed to train students to be better prepared to address issues pertinent to the future of pharmaceutical marketing and patient-centered care. Students are expected to complete course work in the areas of consumer behavior, pharmaceutical marketing research, and pharmaceutical marketing promotion, and work with faculty to conduct research in these areas. The track provides students with the understanding of theoretical concepts and applied techniques of marketing that are used for the efficient delivery of pharmaceutical products and services. Courses offered in this track provide students with knowledge and skills to examine the current pharmaceutical marketing environment from both academic and industry perspective.
