What will I learn?

Physics explores the physical universe to gain a unifying understanding of the world through the interplay of experiment and theory that constitutes the scientific method. Beyond the purely intellectual pursuit of knowledge for its own sake, there is the vast use of discovered laws of nature to improve our material well-being. Just look around you. Our program prepares undergraduate students to study physics in graduate school. This degree is the common path through physics knowledge that is found at universities around the country. You can choose to focus on general or applied physics.

For international students

Applicants must have an official transcript directly from all the high schools.

English Proficiency

TOEFL: minimum of 71.

IELTS: minimum of 6.0

Duolingo English Test (DET) - minimum score of 105

Pearson PTE - minimum score 54

iTEP Academic - minimum score of 3.7. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis once they become complete: Fall - April 1; Spring - October 1.
