What will I learn?

The study of political science helps citizens better understand the workings of the world: from the laws that regulate individuals, businesses, and communities, to the change agents that spur transformation in society. Governors State University’s Bachelor of Arts in Political Science provides students with a comprehensive and multidisciplinary academic foundation that combines the study of political science with related fields of sociology, anthropology, history, and globalization. As a Political Science student, you will create a specialization to align with your personal and professional goals within one of the program’s four subfields: American Politics and Policy Comparative Political Analysis International and Global Politics Social Justice and Civic Engagement

Test scores will only be considered if they are helpful to the student. Earned fewer than 24 semester hours of college credit to start GovState as a freshman
