What will I learn?

UNCW’s Public Health bachelor’s/Applied Gerontology master’s degree program prepares graduates to improve the health and quality of life for older adults. The Public Health bachelor’s/Applied Gerontology master’s degree program enables you to complete the requirements for both degrees in five years. The key feature of the program is that a student can count up to 12 hours of graduate-level courses to satisfy requirements for the B.S. in Public Health and toward the M.S. in Applied Gerontology.

For international students

Applicants must have an official transcript directly from all the high schools.

English Proficiency

TOEFL: minimum of 71.

IELTS: minimum of 6.0

Duolingo English Test (DET) - minimum score of 105

Pearson PTE - minimum score 54

iTEP Academic - minimum score of 3.7. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis once they become complete: Fall - April 1; Spring - October 1.
