What will I learn?

Express your creativity in three dimensions in the University of Central Missouri’s Sculpture program. Robust training in the tools, skills, theory and history of your art form will prepare you for graduate-level study or to pursue a career as a professional sculptor. Receive a well-rounded education that includes art fundamentals, as well as familiarity with the tools and techniques for sculpting a variety of materials.You’ll learn from recognized artists as you refine your creative vision in a collaborative, community-building atmosphere that values diversity and contextual learning. Our small class sizes and student-centered learning put the focus on your needs and growth as an artist. The Studio Art BFA in Sculpture program at UCM is an art school experience at public school rates, in keeping with our historic tradition of providing an accessible, high-quality education in the arts.

Entry requirements

For international students

All undergraduate students are required to upload unofficial transcripts to their student portal (created upon application submission) and submit official transcripts to our office. These transcripts will be used for advisement purposes. Students must have a 2.0 high school GPA or above to be admissible. If the applicant has taken undergraduate coursework the cumulative GPA of the undergraduate coursework must be a 2.0 or higher to be admissible.
