Students can also get involved in over 100 clubs and societies, helping them build friendships and make the most of their time at UCC.

Graduate outcomes

UCC places a strong emphasis on preparing students for successful careers. Over 90 percent of UCC graduates progress to employment or further study shortly after graduation.

The university works with a wide network of employers across Ireland and internationally. Many programmes include work placements, internships, or industry engagement opportunities, allowing students to gain valuable experience during their studies.

Students also benefit from dedicated career services, including career coaching, job platforms, and initiatives such as the UCC Works Award, supporting them in developing professional skills and transitioning confidently into the workplace.

International students, meanwhile, benefit from access to the International Students Career and Employment Hub, where expert advisors provide advice tailored to individual needs, including guidance on employability both in Ireland and overseas.
