Overview

Wintec is part of Te Pūkenga – New Zealand Institute of Skills and Technology. Te Pūkenga – New Zealand Institute of Skills and Technology brings the Institutes of Technology and Polytechnics (ITPs) and the training activities of certain Industry Training Organisations (ITOs) together to create a national network. This will give learners more choices and flexibility in what, where, and how they learn. The institute also offers students postgraduate and master's qualifications in a range of specialist fields. Wintec provides its students more choices and flexibility in their subjects and modes and methods of learning.
