ECC Accommodation Bursary

Other eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this scholarship you must:

• Be a new international student from one of these countries: Botswana, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Kenya, Malawi, Malaysia, Mauritius, Philippines, South Korea, Singapore, South Africa, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Zimbabwe, Uganda, Zambia or Tanzania.
• Be a new student commencing an ECC Diploma (excluding Diploma of Health Science – Nursing) or Foundation in October 2026 or February 2027.
• Have accepted your offer.
• Be enrolling into an ECC Diploma or Foundation program (excluding Diploma of Health Science – Nursing) for the first time
• Be enrolled full-time at ECC (3 units for trimester course, 4 units for Semester course)

Conditions

• The scholarship is open to any student who commences their first Diploma (excluding Diploma of Health Science – Nursing) or Foundation course at ECC in October 2026 or February 2027.
• Must have accepted your offer.
• The AUD1,500 payment to the student’s nominated Australian bank account after the census date of their first trimester or semesters excluding Diploma of Health Science – Nursing Stream.
• Students who change course may not eligible.
• The student is expected to study a minimum of 8 units at ECC.
• The bursary amount cannot be refunded or transferred if you subsequently withdraw, defer/take a leave of absence or exit from the course.
• Commencement of the bursary cannot be deferred.
• No scholarship will be refunded.
• The recipient must maintain a full-time enrolment (3 units for trimester course, 4 units for Semester course) during their course, unless expressly approved by ECC in its absolute discretion.
• The recipient may become ineligible for the bursary if they receive a government scholarship or industry sponsorship or another grant during the term of the bursary.
